Ask a Pastor
WMCI would like to announce a new and exciting service to our listeners, Ask A Pastor! This is a chance for our listeners to interact with a Pastor and WCMI and allow us to answer any question that you may have on your mind. WCMI will answer these questions right on our website. Ask a Pastor Question:
I have often asked this question, and never have i received a straight or satisfactory answer. This question is not so much a challenge as it is seeking a view point other than my own to reflect on, lest i become too stuck to one idea or the other. The question is this: Before Jesus's death, when none were yet washed clean, what happened to those unable to know the teachings of God? Basically i'm referring to those that were physically incapable of meeting or hearing of the Jews, or of the religion in general. Even after Jesus's death, what happened to all those up until this point that had not been physically able to hear of the word. Was God sending them to heaven, hell, purgatory, or what? Finally, if God was judging them based on the intent of their hearts (as i tentatively believe), why would he not judge even those who have heard of him in the same way (based on if they sought good or evil)?

Question:
?Why do some churches believe that tithes (the law in the Old Testament) is still God's commandment and Paul teaches in his epistles that give out of the portion that has been given to you that you can afford? Plus the law has been done away with because of Jesus' death. And what about the "hirelings" talked about in the Bible that takes a salary? Paul worked outside the church to support himself so that he wasn't a burden on the congregation. I'd like to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

Question:
I am a Pastor's wife living in Mississippi but offered a job in Texas that we both prayed about. I want to be obedient to God's opening the door. Now my husband is not sure of the decision. We will have to live apart for a few months at a time. We will be together on weekends.
